New Vessel Design: Diving Support Vessel “Azteca” - Supporting Oilfield Services
The Diving Support Vessel Azteca is a new build specialist vessel designed by GB Marine. GB Marine’s scope of work includes the complete design and engineering of the hull and superstructure, piping system design, crane support structures and finite element analysis, intact and damage stability computations for compliance with ABS class requirements.
The Azteca is a diesel electric vessel with DP III capabilities, and is designed for operation in unrestricted waters. The vessel is equipped with one 350 MT main crane, anti-heeling and anti-rolling systems, a helideck, and is utilized for offshore construction and diving activities.
The vessel also has ample recreation and accommodation space, multiple offices, conference rooms, and workshops which are available for the crew in support of vessel operations.
