Off the coasts of Central America in the Gulf of Mexico, the offshore diving support construction vessel Caballo Maya is considered a true workhorse, providing offshore support  offshore in the oilfield services market. GB Marine’s scope of work includes the complete design and engineering of the hull and superstructure, piping system design, crane structures and finite element analysis, intact and damage stability computations for compliance with ABS class requirements.

This new build vessel is diesel electric, capable of DP III, and is designed for operation in unrestricted waters. The vessel is equipped with one large 850 MT main crane, and one smaller 100 MT crane, anti-heeling and anti-rolling systems, a helideck, and is capable of carrying out heavy lift operations, and saturation diving activities.

The vessel also has ample recreation and accommodation space for a complement of 300 persons, a fully fitted gym and sauna, a hospital, mess room, recreation room, swimming pool, multiple offices and conference rooms, and 2 workshops available for the crew in support of vessel operations.
