Offshore Engineering: Heavy Lift Analysis in the Indian Ocean

The project involved lifting various offshore platforms and jackets to their moorings in the Indian ocean. The loads involved ranged from 200 MT up to 900 MT. GB Marine's scope of work was to determine the optimum vessel condition, lifting arrangement and related support procedures for the installation of these offshore platforms and jackets in the Indian ocean. The analysis took into account the existing crane capacity, vessel motions, existing operating conditions and possible worst case scenarios.
